Craft Parties for 6-13 Year Olds in Leicestershire
Looking for a creative, stress free kids party in Leicestershire? At Letters by Jenni, I host fun, hands on craft parties for children and tweens aged 6+ in my welcoming studio at Wymondham Windmill. Each party is fully guided, relaxed and designed to help children get creative, try something new and leave with something they are proud of. Simply choose one of the set craft party packages and let me take care of the rest.
All parties include studio hire, guided tuition, and materials, so you can enjoy the celebration without the mess at home. All parties below cost £150 for up to 6 children and last 60-90 minutes, however you can have use of the space for 2 hours to allow time for celebrations and cake at the end. Additional attendees are £15pp and our studio can accommodate up to 12 participants.
For larger parties, we do have the ability to hire the events barn at the Windmill so please get in touch. We can also add on a food and drinks package supplied from the on-site tea room for an additional cost.Â

Princess Pipe Cleaner Crown & Wands

A magical party where children design and make their own pipe cleaner crown and decorated wand.
Build your own Magical Fairy Gardens
Ideal for ages 7-9
Children will design and create their very own fairy garden using painted wooden houses, terracotta pots and decorative details. Â
DIY Creative Dreamcatchers and Charm
Ideal for ages 9-13
Children create and decorate their own dreamcatcher using hoops, yarn, ribbons and embellishments, and then finish the session with some beaded bag charms.
Brush Calligraphy Crafts
Ideal for ages 9-13
An introduction to brush lettering where children learn the basics and letter their own card and personalised pencil case.Â

Frequently Asked Questions
How many children can I invite?
My studio can accommodate up to 12 participants, however for larger parties we do have the ability to hire the events barn at the Windmill for an additional fee.
When do you offer parties?
I typically provide my party packages on Saturdays, occassional Sundays and can also run them in evenings during the weekdays. Simply let us know which days of the week and times are most convenient and we can let you know the current availability.
What does the party price include?
- Up to 90 minutes of a fully-hosted art and craft session in our dedicated workshop space
- Aprons for children
- All set up and cleaning of art and craft space for the chosen activity.
- All supplies for the chosen activitie(s)
- Up to 6 children (additional children charged at £15pp)
- Soft drinks (water and squash) for participants.
Where do you host the parties?
All parties are held at my creative studio based at Wymondham Windmill, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. You can find more about how to find us here. There is free car parking on site.
Is there anything else I need to know?
A £50 non refundable deposit is needed to secure your chosen date.
Final number of children and full payment is required 14 days before the event.
The birthday child must have at least one parent/guardian remain for the full duration of the party and take responsibility for the participants. Other parents are also welcome to stay if they wish.
You have use of the workshop space for 2 hours which allows half an hour at the end for celebrations and cake which you are welcome to bring. If you wish, we can also arrange a food package from Wymondham Windmill for an additional cost, so please ask for more information.
How do I book?
Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and we’ll contact you via email to confirm availability asap. Alternatively you can pop in and speak to us in store during our opening times. We’ll then send you an invoice for £50 deposit to secure your date.
